About Callum
Having come from a state-funded school I know the challenges that can arise when trying to achieve high goals with perhaps not the most personalised support and from my experience at school during my A-levels tutoring GCSE students and the rewarding feeling and success of others that I saw has driven me to continue to pursue my idea of personalised tutoring now as a Cambridge Undergraduate Medical Student to those at both A-level and GCSE levels of education. Happy to teach A-level/GCSE biology, chemistry and maths

As a qualified peer mentor and current medical student I understand struggles that can come alongside balancing A-levels/GCSEs with the rest of your life. I have worked very closely with students in the past helping them both on a personal and academic level as well as working with many challenged students at a strictly academic level helping with their GCSEs and feel very rewarded that many of them have gone on to do well in their exams - well past what they believed they could achieve at the start. I take pride in that my lessons would be personalised - by understanding how each of my particular students prefer to learn and not following a rote learning approach to ensure that they get the most out of the used resources. As a full-time Cambridge Medical Student who also has a part-time job between term-times I know the challenges that come with balancing studies with extra activities - especially application processes during A-levels - and would be able to offer support and advice with achieving a healthy balance. I also am only looking for a couple of students to tutor just for a couple of hours a week due to my own time constraints and therefore can confirm I will be giving personalised sessions based on what the students feel they want to improve on.
