About Harriet
I am a second year student at the University of Cambridge and have a passion for academic excellence, having achieved 4A*s at A-level. I have been tutoring for two years now and have helped students develop their essay writing skills, exam technique and, most importantly, their confidence to tackle new and challenging concepts.

My approach to teaching is to strike a balance between enjoyment and really pushing oneself - where a lot of students go wrong in the build up to examinations is the tendency to neglect those areas they are not fully confident in. Therefore prior to each tutoring session I will set some work that I will go through with the student in the tutorial, highlighting what was effective and demonstrating the best ways to restructure essays to include any points missed.
Regarding Oxbridge preparation I will provide good reading sources and go over personal statements, alongside running my own mock interviews.
