About Shiv
I’m a Cambridge graduate with a background in Physics, Maths and the sciences, and I’m passionate about helping students become more confident in subjects that can initially feel difficult.
Having recently been through the same exams myself, I understand that doing well isn’t just about knowing the content - it’s about knowing how to approach questions, where marks are gained and how to turn understanding into exam performance.
Through tutoring, I focus on breaking down difficult ideas into clear, manageable steps and adapting each session to the individual student. Whether you’re looking to build stronger foundations, push towards the top grades or simply feel more confident going into an exam, the aim is always the same: to help you make real, measurable progress.

I highly recommend Shiv as a tutor. He has a strong academic background and, more importantly, a clear and patient approach to explaining difficult concepts. He takes the time to understand where a student is struggling and adapts his teaching to suit them, rather than simply giving them the answer. Shiv is friendly, approachable and genuinely invested in helping students improve their confidence and achieve their goals.
