I teach mainly through discussion, reading and presentation activities. I believe oral discussion is a fundamental aspect of learning, which allows the student to consolidate their knowledge and become more confident in articulating what they have learnt. Lessons would typically be one hour long but could be longer or shorter depending on preference. I am a second year Human, Social and Political Sciences student at Cambridge, and I studied Sociology, English Lit, and History for A Level, in which I got A*AA . Lessons would typically be for students of any age - I have experience tutoring 5 year olds up to 16, in English Literature, Reading/Phonics, English Language, History (essay techniques), and SPAG/Verbal Reasoning. I can also teach Sociology at pre-GCSE, GCSE and A Level.
