About Otto
I am currently an undergraduate studying mathematics at The University of Cambridge. I love maths and am excited to share my knowledge to help you achieve your goals in the subject. I can offer help with almost any aspect of maths including exam technique and personal statements.

My teaching style focuses on developing your mathematical thinking and understanding. I like to guide students towards the correct answer with well-placed questions, rather than telling them outright, which ensures they have a good grasp of what they are doing. As for the structure of lessons, I am flexible and always want to take on board your feedback so we can make a lesson plan together based on your needs. For example, we could work through some questions or a past paper, I could answer any questions about a topic you're struggling with or reteach it entirely, etc...
As someone who's recently sat their A-levels, I understand how stressful it can be and how difficult it is to stay on track. I can give advice for what you can be doing to prepare, strategies and exam technique for when you're sitting your paper and methods for breaking down and approaching problems. Finally, I'm happy to mark some past papers for you, although we'll need to discuss the specifics of this in our lessons.
