About Dasha Gerz
Achieved A*A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Biology A-level, 9 in maths GCSE and top grade in FSMQ.
I’m really passionate about science, and believe in sharing this spark with my students while tailoring flexible lesson plans to their varied needs, from developing scientific thinking for KS3 students or university applicants to quickly ramping up scores on an A-level paper.
Matching my Natural Sciences studies at Cambridge, I teach Maths, Physics and Biology to an advanced level, while also helping with Chemistry, English literature and logical reasoning up to KS3. I have helped multiple of my students secure offers to competitive schools like City of London (girls) and LEH at 11+, and offer mock Oxbridge interviews, personal statement and ESAT help for Natural Sciences, Biology and Biomedical Sciences.
I can teach online, travel to your home or meet at a café / library.

Over my studies and tutoring experience I’ve tried out many revision tactics and explanations for difficult concepts, so I can help find something that works for you—whether that’s developing a 4-step approach to AQA physics questions on waves or memorising a lengthy biology process with lots of terminology.
For exam preparation, we will tackle questions you struggled with together in lessons to come up with a game-plan for similar question types; this will help us find which topics need to be prioritised. For those, I can give you different approaches to understand the key concepts logically and my tactics to memorise them.
I can recommend different sources like textbooks and YouTube channels to supplement your progress, and my experience with a broad range of study tools helps me pick a couple best suited to you.
