A graduate of physics at York University with a passion for research and teaching. I'm a relaxed person who enjoys talking to anyone and everyone! I also love: art, travelling, hiking and camping, Indoor climbing, and meeting new people (if that counts as a hobby). I am a friendly laid back person, who believes learning new things doesn't have to be dull or boring! In fact, I think learning is most effective when you enjoy yourself. Having recently graduated myself, I understand the stresses and difficulties brought on by being a student and importantly, how to manage them!
Expect a friendly face who is always keen to help out, and is always happy to advise you on your academic endeavours. I have an 'open door' policy meaning you can reach out at any time and I'll get back to you ASAP, I also don't believe in stupid questions, so feel free to get in touch if you have any queries or just want to say hi!
Expect flexible teaching that can adapt for needs specific to you, meaning different styles of teaching, pacing and duration is used to fit you. I will also tailor for your specific exam boards and modules. In addition I can offer resources and recommendations appropriate for you that can get you well on your way to achieving your desired grades! A lesson with me would typically be 1-2 hours, although adjustments can be made for your individual preferences.
I currently have some slots to teach Mathematics and Physics at A level (typically 16-18 years old level), secondary school level/GCSE (typically 11-16 years old level) and primary level (typically under 11 years old). Feel free to contact for further details, or just to say hi!

Perfect! Liam is an excellent teacher who can explain maths and physics is a clear and concise way. He is also able to put the student at ease and praises regularly and is very supportive. Would highly recommend!

Very knowledgeable in the field , he will be of great assistance as a tutor !
Liam is very empathetic tutor and can help according to the individual needs. He can find out the strength and weakness of his mentees. My trigonometry is much better and efficient with his guidance.
A down to earth easy to get on with guy who it’s clear is serious about education. Talk with him about Maths for a bit and you’ll see it’s clear he puts the time in.
