About Dr Aristel
I am a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Law and a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at Trinity College, Cambridge. My current research project sits at the intersection of constitutional theory, EU law, critical theory, and international migration law. I hold a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Leuven, Belgium. I am passionate about helping students and junior researchers develop their academic trajectories. Having studied in the UK, Belgium, and Austria and obtained degrees in three disciplines (Master's in Law, Philosophy, and Music) I bring a wealth of interdisciplinary and international expertise to each session. I am particularly excited to help you with your larger assignments and the overall arc of your academic career (how to turn your dissertation into a publishable article, how to develop a PhD project proposal, how to write your first conference talk).
