About Stephen
I have been tutoring one-one and group sessions for two years at my local tuition to children ranging from Year 7-Year 11 and recently started tutoring both AS/A level and IB subjects.
I was a mentor at my sixth form and this means I'm able to interact with students and adapt my teaching method depending on the tutee's personality.
My tutees have had major success with them achieving grade 9s in their GCSEs for maths and triple/combined science.

Mathematics and Chemistry subjects are difficult subjects, as such I tend to use various analogies and display numerous methods to solving problems. to make the tutee a better problem-solver. I also communicate with my students to track their progress and in order to prioritize teaching topics they may find difficult. Structure is very key and so with my students, we create a plan which incorporates both learning followed by exam practice to make sure they're in line with their attainment goal.
