About Catherine
I am a second year undergraduate at the University of Cambridge studying mathematics. I completed my A-Levels in 2025 studying maths, further maths, physics, and chemistry, achieving A*s in all four of these subjects. I have two and a half years of experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in maths, physics, and chemistry and I have worked with children aiming for a range of grades- whether you're looking to achieve a pass or secure the grade 9 I am here to help!

Lessons are typically one hour long and the structure of the lessons depends on the needs of the student. Often my students find it most helpful to spend a few lessons getting to grips with the theory before spending some time completing practice questions with my help. Throughout the year I try to use past paper questions to check the student has fully understood the material. In the run up to exams I focus on exam technique and getting to grips with what the markscheme places greatest emphasis on.
