James tutored three students in preparation for their Oxbridge interviews in three different subjects, English Lit, Geography and Psychology. He was very thorough, going through their personal statements and written work in advance to prepare questions. He did mock interviews with them, gave them feedback and also talked them through what to expect. Having someone who went through the process quite recently really helped the students. James was friendly, calm and put the students at ease. I would highly recommend James to prepare young people for Oxbridge admissions.

James worked with me throughout my university admissions process. He helped me find a uni that was right for me and advised me brilliantly regarding my personal statement. He was so helpful as his style and dedicated approach to tutoring really worked for me. He was efficient and really professional, and even followed through to results day. His interview coaching was especially helpful as he has particular experience in this area and it really showed through.

As his ex English teacher, I can fully endorse James's desire to become a personal tutor. He is an exceptional English student having a wide range of interests across the curriculum. James is also an outstanding actor and musician - pianist, singer, composer. Rarely does one come across such an interesting , exceptional individual during one's teaching career - I was fortunate to have taught him. I have no hesitation whatsoever in supporting him - he will excel in the role.

James Hancock Evans was a pupil at Penweddig School, Aberystwyth where I knew him well for 8 years. James was a very talented, sensitive and able pupil on many levels. Considered to be amongst the most intelligent in his year, James went on to study English at Cambridge. His skills base was varied and he had the ability to work effectively and efficiently as an individual, was able to act well as a team leader and was very sensitive to the needs of others. As well as being highly academic, he was an outstanding musician, a very able actor and poet. He was always reliable and was a kind and thoughtful personality. He was always happiest researching into his areas of interest and took his work very seriously.
