I am a quantitative consultant with a multi-disciplinary background (MA Economics from Cambridge, PhD Financial Econometrics and MSc Finance from Imperial). This enables me to teach a wide range of subjects (Mathematics, Programming, Data Science / Artificial Intelligence, Finance) over many levels ranging from A-Level to professional standards. This also enables me to mentor clients along a growth path, e.g. I can advise an A-Level student which areas of Mathematics are most important for Economics and Finance degrees.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

1) Mathematics
2) Programming (Python, Matlab, R, SQL) and Algorithmic Trading (MQL4 / MT4)
3) Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Econometrics / Statistics
4) Finance, Derivatives (e.g. LSE FM212)

I teach at all ages and levels from A-Level to Postgraduate and Professional / Adult Learner

University and A-Level exams

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I prefer to work online via Teams and OneDrive as online meetings can be more flexible.

Programming is better online as we can share screens and remote control so that clients can type code on my screen and vice versa.

Mathematics is just as good online as I make use of:
1) an interactive whiteboard + a writing tablet and stylus (to write on the screen)
2) visualisation software so that clients can see me writing on paper by hand
Then any notes can be shared as pdfs after the session.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I treat every client uniquely (everyone has strengths which enable them to relate to material differently) and kindly (there are no bad questions). My aim is to help clients grow to become independent and able to learn on their own.
