About Joseph
I have graduated with a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, in which I achieved a First. Next year I will begin a PhD in Cambridge, during which I will work with Bose on active noise cancellation. I have experience in a range of engineering areas, and have specialised in machine learning/information engineering. Having been heavily involved in the University running club, I am used to making new members feel welcome and enjoy engaging with people.
I have experience tutoring students in A level Maths and Further Maths, and have enjoyed stretching them as they prepare to apply to Oxbridge. I currently have over 50 hours of experience.

My teaching methodology is inspired by the effectiveness of the supervision system in Cambridge. I devise a set of questions of increasing difficulty before the lesson, and then work through the questions with the student. This allows me to find the right level of difficulty for each student.
In particular, for those preparing for University admissions assessments, I provide a weekly set of challenging problems designed to prepare them specifically for both interviews and assessments. These problems dig deeper into the students understanding of fundemental topics, and aim to develop how a student approaches and solves physics, maths, and engineering problems.
