I have started sessions with Andrew in Autumn with a basic understanding of the syllabus and since then my confidence and knowledge have increased considerably. He keeps his lessons effective and engaging, always finding new analogies to explain difficult topics.

After not attaining my desired a-levels first time round, I went looking for a tutor who would be able to support my re-sit year. To which I found Andrew who initially tutored me in chemistry but later included physics. He helped me develop my time management and exam technique which hindered me my first time round by teaching me fun easy methods to remember the most complex of concepts. He was very accommodating for fitting in my tuition, even providing online tuition which was just as effective and provided useful notes when I was unable to travel. With his support I was able to go from a D in chemistry to an A and a D in physics to an B.

Andrew tutored our son during his upper sixth to help with his understanding of maths and chemistry. Andrew formed an excellent relationship with our son, was very engaging and really helped him with areas he was having difficulty. He was also a very good coach for exam technique. He is very knowledgable, professional and has an infectious enthusiasm.

Andrew tutored me A-Level chemistry during my final year of school. I was very underconfident in this subject and by the end of the year, Andrew helped me to completely turn this around to achieve the grade I needed to start university this year. Andrew taught me the A Level maths units core 3 and Core 4, I had a target grade of a B overall. He was brilliant at explaining complex maths problems and went the extra mile to find questions for specific topics as well as provide a variety of useful resources to help with studying.
