About Elliott
Hi! I'm Elliott, a Cambridge CELTA-qualified English teacher from the UK. I teach in schools, for companies, and privately. I work with students of all levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners — and I specialise in Cambridge exam preparation (A2 Key, B1 PET, B2 First). My lessons focus on turning a solid understanding of grammar into real-world communication skills. I teach students, academics, professionals, and anyone looking to improve their conversation skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. I also speak Italian at an intermediate level (B1), which can be helpful — especially for beginners — though I always encourage using as much English as possible in our lessons! With a professional background in archaeology and content writing, I bring a deep knowledge of British culture and history — ideal for those planning to move to or work in the UK!

My English lessons are always personalised to your level and your weaknesses. I use high-quality professional materials which include a mixture of reading, listening and speaking. My lessons also finish with communication activities so you can use the language you learn in a real life situation. For exam preparation, we do personalised study of the areas of English you need to improve, alongside exam practice. We discuss how to approach each question and work step-by-step to ensure you are confident in the exam. We do 'workshops' on Writing and practise Speaking every week, to ensure you get the best marks you can! I teach exam preparation in schools and privately, so I know how to prepare you well!

Elliott has been the best teacher I've had, especially in improving my English speaking skills. From our very first lesson, he clearly identified the areas we needed to focus on, which made the lessons highly effective.
What I appreciated most was his ability to listen carefully and observe throughout the class. After each session, he would note any incorrect word usage or pronunciation and spend an extra 5–10 minutes helping me correct them. He would then share a written summary and encourage me to review it later. His method was incredibly helpful and supportive.
