About Jacob
My name's Jacob and I studied GCSEs in Wales before moving to a boarding school in Wales where I did the International Baccalaureate.
I’ve always been interested in both sciences and the humanities and intend to study either physics or economics in university.
I was offered 5/5 UK offers for university and offered a place at Cambridge to read Land Economy. I also applied to the US where I was accepted to The University of Pennsylvania and nominated as one of 15 international students to be a World Scholar.
I’m excited to share some of my knowledge of STEM with you and hopefully help prepare you for any upcoming exam!

Overarching Approach
• Highlight key subject specific focus points
• Work on developing specific foundational knowledge
• Applying that knowledge in exam specific settings
In each 1 hour lesson:
• Begin each lesson with a brief introduction and ease into the lesson with some refreshers and easy questions. Review questions set after the last session.
• Main body, learning about a specific subject and trialling related questions. Working together through difficult problems to find an answer.
• End: Specific additional questions set for in between sessions for the student to work on.

Jacob is an excellent tutor in Organic Chemistry. He explains everything very clearly (everything from nucleophilic substitution to voltaic cells) and is very patient - highly recommended -really improved my understanding.
Jacob helped me with catching up on my maths as I had not done any A Level maths in awhile before starting college.
He was incredibly patient and helpful and didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing certain topics. He would give me examples to work through that would challenge me but with his tutoring, I was able to overcome them. I highly recommend Jacob as a tutor to anyone who wants to improve their maths or just refresh it.Jacob has been incredibly helpful to me as a geography tutor. He helped me so much in developing a really strong and reliable approach to answering essay questions and helped me fully grasp a lot of key geographical concepts. He was extremely supportive and helpful during the entirety of my exam preparation!
