About Rohan
Hey future student!
My name is Rohan, and I'm an incoming sophomore at UT Austin. I am a huge Marvel fanatic; I love playing tennis/pickleball and spending time with my family. I love teaching, which I've done since high school, and I love seeing kids get curious about what they are learning.

I am someone who believes in understanding the concepts more than memorizing math. If they are able to teach the concept to someone else, that's when they truly understand, so I always like the student to summarize what they learned out loud. This sometimes includes them being the teacher so I can see if they understood the concept. Usually, a lesson plan consists of working on the student's weaknesses with a goal in mind (whether that's a test coming up or simply showing mastery in a subject). What sets me apart is that I have a lot of patience. With my experience tutoring kids with autism, I realized having patience and determination is what makes students succeed and allowing them to make mistakes. I usually target elementary students, middle schoolers, or young high schoolers for mainly math-related subjects.
