About Olivia
Hi! I'm Olivia and I'm originally from Canada but moved to England a year ago after graduating from university. Since then, I've worked as a teaching assistant at a local secondary school in a variety or subjects, primarily English and Maths. English has always been my passion though and I love being in a learning environment again! I can't wait to chat and hear more about what you want to learn!

I like to have a student-centred approach in my lessons, letting students guide us towards where they want to work while still covering lessons. Depending on the needs of the student, I would ideally aim for 1 hour a week for English, either as 1 lesson or broken into2 30 minute sessions based on their ability to focus. I have experience tutoring at a university level and have worked as a learning support assistant for over a year. My experience is in secondary schools and my lessons would reflect that, by being geared towards years 7-11 of all levels.
