About Talia
I am a guitar teacher with 7+ years of experience and an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals. I focus on coaching students for band auditions, ensemble playing, and live performance. My teaching style is both encouraging and disciplined, fostering growth and confidence. I emphasize stage presence, rhythmic precision, and effective collaboration. Lessons help students understand their musical role and interact creatively with bandmates. I guide students through audition preparation, ensemble dynamics, and performance expression. Each session strengthens technical skill and musical awareness. I encourage improvisation, dynamics, and artistic expression within a group. My approach combines focused instruction with hands-on performance practice. Students gain the confidence to perform confidently on stage. We work on timing, phrasing, and collective musical excellence. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and ensemble needs. Together, we build strong musicianship and stage readiness. My teaching method focuses on ensemble playing and performing live with confidence. I guide students in understanding band dynamics, stage presence, and live performance etiquette. Lessons provide practical experience playing with others. I work with The Fingerstyle Enthusiast and The Late Bloomer to help them shine in group situations. We practice timing, rhythm, and listening skills to stay tight with a band. Students learn to communicate musically and respond to other players. Each lesson simulates real-world performance scenarios. I emphasize improvisation, expression, and audience engagement. Technical ability and collaborative skills are developed simultaneously. Lessons are tailored to the student’s goals and interests. I encourage creativity and musical problem-solving. Students gain confidence in rehearsals, auditions, and live gigs. My approach is interactive, supportive, and motivating. Together, we’ll prepare you to perform on any stage.
