About Shreya
Hi! I’m Shreya, a FIDE-rated chess player with experience competing at both state and national levels. I’ve been teaching chess for over a year, and I love helping students grow confident through logical thinking and visual strategies. My classes are friendly, engaging, and tailored to suit every learner’s pace. I truly believe that chess not only sharpens the mind, but also teaches patience, decision-making, and focus — skills that go beyond the board. I’m here to make your learning journey fun, meaningful, and inspiring!

As a chess tutor, I focus on making learning both fun and effective. My teaching combines visual board patterns, logic-based strategies, and interactive challenges. Each session starts with a quick warm-up puzzle, followed by step-by-step lessons using real game examples. I specialize in helping students visualize moves ahead and understand the “why” behind decisions — not just memorize openings. My classes are suitable for school children, beginners, and intermediate players. I’m patient, energetic, and adapt to each student’s learning speed to make sure they stay engaged and motivated
