About Adam
I am 31 years old and currently based in Ilkeston near Derby
I have lived locally all of my life and spent most of my earlier years in Stapleford and Long Eaton until 2018 when me and my wife got our own place together
I have always had a strong interest in maths and picked up the subject well right the way through to degree level
I recognise that there are a lot of people who find the subject challenging and confusing on occasions, and with clear delivery and structure I want to help change that view and encourage a more positive outlook on the subject as far and wide as I can
I am a firm believer in patient and appropriately paced tuition where information is clearly digestible and relevant to the sessions and any real time upcoming assessments etc, to help maximise chances of success

My tutoring lessons would on average be around 1.5 - 2 hours, although if there is availability for both parties I would be happy to offer longer sessions etc
In terms of my tuition style I recognise that every individual learns in their own way and at their own pace so I adapt this from one session to the next in order to cater to each individual's needs
I am always happy to revisit any particular topics/definitions until the individual is completely clear on them, and at times I try and even make up my own memorable acronyms and such like to help reinforce understanding. After all, learning has to have some degree of fun involved!
My lessons would be aimed at anyone up to 16 years old (top end GCSE level)
