About Tom
I’m currently studying a masters of research in cancer sciences at the University of Glasgow, analysing mechanisms of drug resistance in leukaemia. I’m an approachable individual who believes that science should be taught in an engaging way. In my spare time, I like to cook, play music and run.
Having worked on various science outreach programmes at high school and university, I gave experience in engaging students in science. Further to this, I have carried out private tutoring throughout high school and the first two years of my undergraduate degree. Don’t hesitate to message me to ask questions :)

I have tutored previously during my A-Levels and my undergraduate degree. I take the time to understand my students’ needs and abilities and tailor my lesson around that. My lessons will be taught in hour blocks in the evenings. I will tutor biology and chemistry at all levels up to degree level.
