About NELSON
I am passionate about science and I am a lifelong learner. I hold a BSc honours degree in Physics and have many academic accolades including being part of the University of Johannesburg's 2017s Ujenius Club (Academic top 1%). I have 3 years experience tutoring 1st and 2nd years students (Physics), 2 year experience as a lab assistant and 4 years experience tutoring high school learners (Math and Physical Sciences). I am simply the best at what I do and taking me as your tutor will be the best decision you ever made for your future.

A spiral approach coupled with scaffolding is mostly used to connect content with prior knowledge in order to reinforce understanding and guide learners through activities while creating achievable and challenging activities utilizing the zone proximal development strategy. English is the preferred language of learning and teaching. Lessons are mostly aimed at developing critical thinking, problem solving skills and creativity which is achieved by designing assessment activities that are cognizant of context of students, application in the real world and current problems in society. I prefer working with hard working student with the love of math, science and learning.
