About Gregory
I am a university students who has completed first year chemistry, physics, geology and mathematics and am currently on compassionate leave. I have an aspiring science teacher as I have always found it sad how many people struggle with science. I hope to eventually become a teacher who hopefully inspire students in the path of sciences.
While I have done little official teaching or tutoring, I have often helped many of my peers who have often struggled in the areas of concepts and reasoning which I have always found were my strong suits.
I hope to use the experience of tutoring to help me on the path to becoming a better teacher that can help people enjoy learning as I enjoyed it.

I focus on teaching concepts and logic rather than just focusing on material. I believe in encouraging one's own initiative to solving problems even if they are unsure of how to approach them. Rather than just teaching the material needed to pass tests and exams, I rather focus on the ideas and thinking behind the material. In doing so I hope that they will need to take less time and effort to achieve better results and retain something that will last well beyond just their school career.
In short, I will do my best to teach my students to be more confident, more perceptive,more understanding, more dynamic. I hope to teach them in a way that it benefits them ling after their education has finished.
