About Sasha
I am a BSc Biochemistry undergraduate at the University of St Andrews, one of the UK's leading research universities. I have developed a passion for the sciences throughout my school life and continue to do so at higher education. I am eager to ensure other students have the opportunities to explore the topics they enjoy by having well rounded knowledge across all of their subjects.
Having received tutoring myself in the past, I understand the impact that 1-to-1 learning can have. The beneficial response I have seen from previous students I helped teach while studying for my A Levels has enabled me to understand how to tailor lesson structures to fit each individual student.
I believe I am an extremely welcoming person with a very resilient attitude, which I believe is essential for tutoring. Not only is it important to see improving results with tutoring, it is critical that the student enjoys and feels comfortable studying, and I strive to achieve this through my relaxed teaching methods.
I achieved Grade 9 at GCSE for Biology and Chemistry, as well as grades A*/A at A Level. My further studies at university have enabled me to develop the skills I have acquired so far.
