About Amy
I am a British native that grew up speaking french with my mum, who is from the south of France, and my dad, who has a degree in french and speaks like he's from the south of France! I excelled in my French GCSE and I would love to help you do the same! My accent is near perfect and I know the AQA syllabus inside out. My GCSE vocabulary is expansive, and I have the knowledge to push you as I went on to study French A Level at college.

I have a relaxed but solid teaching style. I don't put immense pressure on students as it has such harmful impacts on student mental health, however I will push you to to try your best and stretch your knowledge. I am patient and down to earth and I like to like think I am kind and easy to get along with, though I will be firm when necessary. I cater my lessons to the individual student and I will try my best to teach you in a way that will help you learn the best.
I start my lessons with some vocab exercises and grammar practice so the basic foundations of the language are strong. we would then go onto to some exam style conversation and finish with some written or reading exam prep. I am especially good at finding little memory tricks to help you remember the trickier things in the language and I'm always happy share them!
