About Poorna
Hello, and welcome! I am a dedicated Commerce and Accountancy tutor with a strong belief that every student can excel when guided with clarity, patience, and the right methods. Teaching, for me, is not just about delivering information—it is about helping students truly understand concepts, apply them confidently, and enjoy the process of learning. I focus on making complex topics simple and practical. I combine clear explanations with real-world examples, problem-solving activities, and interactive discussions. My methods encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and build a strong foundation rather than rely on memorization. How My Classes Are Structured Warm-up & Recap: Briefly revisit previous lessons to connect ideas. Step-by-Step Teaching: Introduce new concepts in small, clear steps. Practical Application: Use examples, exercises, and case studies to make learning relevant. Practice & Feedback: Students solve problems, and I provide constructive guidance. Summary & Takeaway: Key points are reviewed, with a short assignment for reinforcement.
