About Mae
I am a committed piano tutor with over 9+ years of teaching experience, helping students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds learn and improve their musical skills. I am passionate about making music education simple and accessible.
My teaching style focuses on communication, patience, and structured learning. I adapt my lessons based on each student’s level and goals, ensuring they build a strong foundation before moving to advanced topics. I teach piano along with music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to support complete understanding.
I include practical examples and song practice to make lessons more engaging. My unique skill is creating simple learning methods that make complex topics easy to understand. I help students develop discipline, confidence, and consistency. I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and enjoy music.

My teaching methodology focuses on engaging, flexible, and creative learning. I believe piano lessons should inspire confidence, foster creativity, and develop technical skills while remaining enjoyable. Through clear communication, I understand each student’s goals, strengths, and learning style, which allows me to design lessons that are personalised, motivating, and effective.
Creativity is central to my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical genres, fostering originality, artistic confidence, and self-expression. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning preferences, making learning smooth, productive, and enjoyable.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated methodology strengthens technical proficiency, expressive skills, and musical understanding. My goal is to help students become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
