About Régis
As a certified language teacher, I specialize in teaching Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish as foreign languages. I have a passion for designing courses, instructional materials and assessments, and helping adult learners develop language and cultural skills. Additionally, I prepare students for proficiency exams like Celpe-Bras. My background includes two university degrees in Language Studies, with an emphasis on Portuguese and Spanish. During my studies, I was awarded scholarships to teach English and Spanish in diverse educational contexts, allowing me to further develop my teaching skills and broaden my cultural horizons.

My Portuguese classes are focused on developing the language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. I usually adopt a communicative approach while exploring different grammar topics and relevant cultural aspects of the Portuguese language. Students are welcome to suggest specific topics that they want to explore during the classes, shaping their learning experience according to their personal goals.
