About Gabriela
Since 2014 I have been teaching my mother tongue in Montpellier in several language schools, I teach on a temporary basis in faculties, as well as in Continuing Professional Training (CPF) centers and at home.
Coming from a bilingual Brazilian family, I developed an interest in languages since my childhood. This is why I decided to obtain a degree in communications in Rio de Janeiro, my hometown, and why I became a journalist, a field in which I worked for 20 years.
The experience of 11 years as head of communications for the Public Ministry in Rio de Janeiro allowed me to have a full knowledge of legal vocabulary, in addition to that around communication, marketing, journalism, in plus assets already acquired previously in the exercise of the profession of reporter and TV presenter.
Having also worked as an actress for 15 years, I know the language, its phonetics and its communication mechanisms. Knowledge that I pass on to my students.
And having learned French, a language that was foreign to me, already as an adult, I know very well the tricks, the difficulties, the false friends between these two Latin languages.

Music, a fundamental part of the country's culture, is present in every lesson. Have you always wanted to understand the lyrics of Brazilian songs? It is time !
Grammar and vocabulary are essential steps in learning any language. To help you with these steps, I provide exercises to work on between each lesson, so that you can have frequent contact with the language.
The pronunciation, articulation and sound of words are also objects of work in each lesson, because communicating is always the main objective.
