About Giovanna
A little bit about me: I studied Psychology with an emphasis in Education at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. I lived there for many years, worked with Early Childhood Education, Hospital Psychology and, in my spare time, I gave private lessons in "ESOL" (English to Speakers of Other Languages). I returned to Brazil at the end of 2020, due to the pandemic, for fear of being away from my family during these uncertain times.
I feel happy to be able to contribute to other people's plans and dreams. I really believe that it's important to take steps, no matter how small they seem ("baby steps"), rather than trying to jump long distances at once. Thus, learning is much more solid - and enjoyable too! :)

I developed my way of teaching joining some of the things I like the most: Music, Literature, and some Psychology tools. Each class is planned according to the level and needs of the students. A very practical format because it is actually personalized.
I can adapt classes to all levels and I like challenges! For example: do you know when we think we've reached a certain level, usually basic or intermediate, but don't advance? I like to try to work to change this, lightly, without exaggerated expectations! :)
