About Katie
I am a professional tutor and I have been teaching math and test prep in NY and LA since 2003. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College and was in the Honors Program. I scored perfect 800's on each section of my SAT/PSAT, including the Writing test. I tutor Pre-Algebra through AP Calc AB.

For academic math tutoring, I work with the textbook or worksheets the student has, helping them figure out their assigned problems but also making sure they understand the concepts underlying the problems. I try to be fun and engaging even if they don't love math normally.
