About Christian
Hi, I'm Christian, a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Barcelona to Colombian parents. I am passionate about helping others discover the opportunities that come with learning one of the world's most influential languages. Spanish is one of the fastest-growing languages globally, spoken by hundreds of millions of people across Spain, most of South America, and increasingly throughout the United States. Being able to communicate in Spanish opens doors to new cultures, friendships, travel experiences, and future career opportunities.
My goal as a tutor is to create engaging and personalised lessons where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Whether they are studying for exams, preparing for travel, or simply wanting to expand their skills, I want to make Spanish enjoyable, practical, and a language they can use confidently in the real world.

Tailored teaching depending on your language goals. As a native Spanish speaker, I help students develop real confidence by focusing on practical communication rather than just memorising vocabulary. My lessons include interactive conversations, role-play scenarios, pronunciation coaching, and memory techniques that make new words stick naturally. I also use Spanish films, music, and real-life situations to immerse students in the language, while tailoring every lesson to their goals—whether that's achieving top grades in GCSE/A-Level exams, preparing for travel, or becoming fluent. My aim is to make learning Spanish enjoyable, engaging, and something students genuinely look forward to each week.
