About Manav
I’m Manav, a Harrow-based dance artist and choreographer with eight years of teaching experience. I teach Bollywood, Bhangra and Indian dance in a friendly, practical way, helping students build rhythm, expression and confidence. I’ve delivered Indian dance workshops in UK schools and performed at cultural events including Diwali on the Square at Trafalgar Square, Parliament events and World Travel Market at ExCeL London. I also choreograph for celebrations and performances. My lessons welcome beginners and experienced dancers of different ages, and I adapt the pace and music to each student’s goals.

Lessons are welcoming and tailored to your level, age and goal. We start with the foundations: rhythm, basic steps, movement and expression. I then bring these into choreography so you learn how to dance to the music, not just memorise a routine. We can explore Bollywood, Bhangra, Garba or other Indian dance styles, or prepare a routine for a wedding, party or stage performance. I break each section down clearly, practise it with you, and gradually build speed and confidence. Dance fitness and Zumba-inspired sessions can be adapted to your comfort level too. A typical lesson is one hour, with longer choreography sessions by arrangement.
