About Elizabeth

My BMus Vocal Performance degree means I bring a unique ear for music theory and phrasing to every guitar session. I am the local London tutor who actually visits your home to work on your specific goals.
Since I spent 7 years performing with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, I treat every chord transition and blues progression with professional precision. My style is energetic and supportive, ensuring you feel comfortable asking questions. You will find that my approach to improvisation and scales is grounded in decades of real performance experience.

I create a distinct plan for each student based on their unique goals and technical starting point. A monthly recorded review of progress is provided to help you visualise how far your skills have come. We will cover everything from electric technique and sheet music reading to complex ear training exercises. Because I have a BMus Vocal Performance background, I teach you how to hear the music you play rather than just memorising finger placements.
