About Shenna
There’s nothing more enjoyable to me than to see a student progress and enjoy learning piano or violin. Beginners are welcome. I’ve been teaching over 25 years. I’m patient and a great sense of humor. I started off my career working for the Northern Sinfonia, the north east’s only professional orchestra. In education outreach so I’ve always had a good fun relationship with youngsters. I then began teaching some of the parents which was great as whole families were learning. Over the years I’ve thought just as many adults now as children. My youngest at heart student was 84. She was housebound and I couldn’t believe the standard she got to. In time there is a little bit of work needed by you when learning any instrument. It’s well worth it when you see the results for yourself

I taylor each lesson to suit the individual student. Everyone learns at a different pace and I have a wide knowledge of different styles of music. Whether it’s pop, classical, rock, film music. Whether you’re 7 or 70 lessons are fun and enjoyable. I also teach music theory
