About Ali-Shaan
I am Ali-Shaan, a first-year Medical Student at the University of Birmingham. Having achieved A*A*A* in A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, 7 Grade 9s at GCSE, and a 95th percentile (Top 5%) UCAT score, I understand exactly what it takes to excel in high-stakes exams. My lessons focus on mark-scheme mastery and active recall rather than passive re-reading. Having achieved A*A*A* at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, 7 Grade 9s at GCSE, and a 95th percentile (Top 5%) UCAT score, I teach students the exact exam techniques needed to score maximum points. In a typical 1-hour session, we spend 10 minutes on quick-fire retrieval practice, 20 minutes breaking down complex core concepts clearly, and 30 minutes decoding past papers and mark schemes to master examiner expectations. These lessons are designed for GCSE students (Maths, English, Science), A-Level STEM students (Biology, Chemistry, Maths), and medical applicants preparing for the UCAT. Whether you want to bridge specific knowledge gaps or lock in top grades, every session is built to get you exam-ready from day one.
