About Yimin
"A good teacher will leave you educated. But a great teacher will leave you curious." I inspire to be a great teacher. In my 10th grade, I came across a great book, "A Mind for Numbers" by Barbara Oakley. The author states that with the right learning techniques, everyone can excel at math and science. I wish to present some of the great learning tips so that my students will succeed and be confident.

Before solving questions, I will present to students the underlying theory needed to master problem-solving techniques. Then, I will demonstrate the skills for solving different types of questions. Once I explain the key examples, I will reinforce the techniques by providing practice opportunities for my student to be confident in exams. I value students highly and want to build up their confidence in the tutored subject. I usually teach high school and first-year university students.
