I believe that active learning and engagement are the keys to effective tutoring. My teaching methodology involves a combination of explanation, demonstration, and practice. A Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson plan begins with a brief review of the previous session to ensure that the student has a solid foundation before moving on to new material. Then, we work on the current topic or concept, breaking it down into smaller, more manageable parts. I provide examples and encourage the student to work through problems, with my guidance and support. Finally, we end the session by summarizing what was learned and outlining the next steps to take.
