I am a UQ Biotechnology and Engineering student with one year of tutoring experience and a strong academic background. I achieved a 96.5 ATAR and currently hold a 6.0 university GPA, including grades of 7 in Chemistry, 6 in Biology and Physics, and 5 in Mathematics.

I am passionate about helping others learn and enjoy seeing students become more confident in subjects they previously found challenging. I find it rewarding to explain difficult ideas in a way that finally makes sense to each individual student.
I understand that challenging subjects can become overwhelming without clear explanations and patient support. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I am reliable, approachable and committed to preparing thoroughly for every lesson. I aim to help each student strengthen their subject knowledge, improve their study skills and become a more confident, independent learner.

My tutoring approach is patient, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by identifying the student’s current understanding, learning goals and areas requiring improvement. I then explain difficult concepts using clear, step-by-step examples before guiding the student through practice questions. Rather than simply providing answers, I ask questions and encourage students to explain their reasoning, helping them develop confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and may include content revision, homework assistance, practice questions, assessment preparation and feedback. The structure can be adjusted depending on the student’s workload and upcoming exams or assignments.
