About Cosmo
Having spent a year as a teaching assistant in both a primary and a secondary, I have plenty of experience working one to one with students. This includes working with children with learning difficulties. I have previously tutored GCSE maths to students who went on to achieve well above their predicted grades.

My name's Cosmo, I am a 20 year old BSc Medical Sciences student at the University of Exeter currently achieving a 1st. I have a passion for teaching, and spent a year before uni as a teaching assistant. I have a depth of knowledge in biological sciences and have experience tutoring GCSE maths.
I find teaching works best by giving students enough information for them to start asking questions - and then work together to answer these questions. Teaching test methodology can often be important too, especially with modern examination, but I value giving a wide base of knowledge to students too so they can be more confident when it comes to application style questions - and of course further study. A lesson will often involve looking at a past paper question, then discussing the topics involved, and formulating a model answer.
