About Shriya
Hi, I’m a Biomedical Sciences graduate from University College London with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I teach GCSE and A Level Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, supporting students in building both subject confidence and exam technique.
Academically, I achieved Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics at GCSE, followed by A* in Biology, A* in Chemistry, and an A in Mathematics at A Level. Having recently completed my degree, I bring up-to-date scientific knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a clear understanding of what exam boards are looking for.
Alongside my studies, I gained mentoring experience within my school, supporting younger students in science and maths. This involved explaining challenging concepts, helping with exam preparation, and guiding students through practice questions — an experience that strengthened my ability to adapt explanations to different learning styles.

My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student. No two students learn the same way, so we'll make sure to find the way that works for you!
In our first session, we’ll assess your current level, identify areas for improvement, and create a personalised revision plan. We’ll then meet regularly to cover the agreed curriculum in depth.
I can provide past paper questions, exam-style practice, and regular quizzes to ensure active engagement and consistent progress outside of sessions.
