About Adam
I am a medical sciences graduate and current working professional within the Urgent Care department at Northampton General Hospital. Part of my job involves communicating health and lifestyle advice to patients, and have worked with individuals that have learning disabilities - planning activities and facilitating learning with them. Throughout my studies I supported other students and was often the person they would come to for support with their learning as I was motivated, competent and patient. I am very approachable and often build a good rapport with those I am responsible for helping.

I have experience working with people that have learning disabilities, so I take a patient approach to tutoring and am happy to go over subject areas multiple times in a variety of ways that assist the student to learn. I provide lessons in line with the Pomodoro technique to help store information in long-term memory. I can provide between 30-minute and 2-hour sessions. I have a degree in biomedical science with experience working in an acute hospital setting, applying biological and chemical principles every day to patients. I can provide lessons for all ages from pre-GCSE to A-level and will adjust my methods based on student ability.
