About Caitlin
With over two years of experience as a private tutor, I have developed a proven track record of helping students unlock their full potential in Science and Maths. I am currently in the final year of my Biomedical Science degree, a background that provides me with an advanced and highly technical understanding of the subjects I teach. Having achieved $A^*, A^*, A, A$ at A-Level, I am intimately familiar with the pressure of high-stakes exams and know exactly how to guide students towards the top grades. Beyond the classroom, I am a very friendly and social person who enjoys staying active through sports, which helps me build a positive, energetic rapport with my students. I am a 3rd-year Biomedical Science student with over two years of experience providing 1-1 tuition for GCSE and A-Level students in both Science and Maths. Having achieved A*, A*, A, A at A-Level, I have a deep understanding of what is required to excel in high-stakes exams. My teaching methodology focuses on building a strong foundation first; I begin each session by teaching the core content in depth, often incorporating extra detail to ensure a comprehensive understanding. We then transition into rigorous practice questions to apply that knowledge effectively. My lessons typically run for 1 to 2 hours, allowing enough time to bridge the gap between complex theory and exam-day performance.
