About Alisha
I am a Biomedical Engineering Honors student at UC Davis. I am about to enter my fourth and final year there, and have almost 4 years of research experience. I have helped at labs that do research on schizophrenia as well as labs that create imaging modalities to solve medical problems. I also have been a Diving Coach for the High School and Junior Olympic Level for the past 3 years. I am on the Division 1 Dive team for UC Davis, too.

My teaching method is very example driven. In my own learning experience, I have found examples related to theories to be the easiest way for me to understand concepts, especially when it comes to math and science subjects. I also do a lot of research on topics to make sure I am fully equipped with the necessary knowledge.
