About Harry James
I am currently studying Masters Biomechanical engineering at Newcastle University, previously I have completed it degree mechanical engineering from the same University with a grade of 2:1. I've always had a passion for the sciences this can be shown in my choice of A levels and degrees, I find understanding explaining the world around me fascinating field of study, as being able to apply this knowledge to more practical applications. The ability to pass this knowledge on to others brings me great joy.
I feel that tutoring should be an equal partnership between student and tutor. The session will take place at a pace that the student understands, this is to ensure that the concept behind the equations is understood to the best of there ability. Exercises will be set after each session to help further fortify the knowledge they learnt in the session.
I have worked with children in the past, I volunteered at my secondary school to teach children with special needs (such as dyslexia) life skills and basic English. I've also been a young scout leader, this involved explaining dangerous activities such as fire making two up to 24 children at the time. Finally I tutored my younger cousin in maths and biology GCSEs 2014.
