About Amaya
I am a biology tutor with 7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences. My interest in biology began with curiosity about how living organisms function and interact. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their understanding and confidence in the subject. My goal is to make biology simple, clear, and enjoyable for every learner.
My teaching style is patient, clear, and supportive. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple explanations so students can understand easily. I use diagrams, real-life examples, and revision strategies to support learning. I also adapt my lessons based on each student’s needs and pace, ensuring steady progress. Helping students build confidence and strong understanding is always my main focus.
Outside teaching, I enjoy learning about new scientific discoveries and developments in biology. This helps me bring fresh insights into my lessons. I feel proud when students gain confidence and begin understanding concepts independently. Supporting their growth and helping them develop a strong understanding of biology is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience, encouragement, and consistent support throughout their learning journey.

My biology lessons are designed to make learning simple, clear, and engaging for every student. I begin with basic topics such as cells, tissues, and organ systems using simple explanations and diagrams. Students learn how living organisms function and how different systems work together. I use real-life examples to make concepts easier to understand and remember. This approach helps students build a strong foundation in biology from the beginning.
As students progress, I introduce advanced topics such as genetics, human physiology, and ecology. I guide learners through structured lessons that improve understanding and memory. I explain complex ideas in simple terms and use revision techniques to strengthen learning. I support students who need extra help and challenge advanced learners with deeper questions. Lessons are always adapted to match each student’s pace and learning style.

My lessons create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
