About Nicola
I am a masters student at the Liverpool School of Tropical medicine specialising in tropical disease and genetics. I received a 1st degree from my undergraduate and a merit for a previous masters. I have mentored younger students during my undergraduate degree in a practical, lab, and theoretical settings.

I aim to tutor GCSE and A-Level students in biology. My teaching method is a personal approach to adapt to the student, but I have found students are more likely to remember something if they truly understand it. Therefore I prefer to create easy to follow lesson plans starting with brief introductory exercises, followed up with more detailed explanations and assess the student's comfortability with a topic by doing mini-quizzes and to have students explain a concept back to me in their own words.
