About Izzy
I am a 22-year-old female who has just finished their Biology Masters at the University of Bristol, where I gained a 1st class degree. I also completed my Biology, Chemistry and English literature A-Levels back in 2018.
I have a huge passion for teaching after coaching netball for nearly a decade, and being a peer tutor at university. Before doing my PGCE, I aim to gain some more teaching experience.

I will tailor my lessons entirely to you! First, we will go over the main gaps in your current knowledge and focus on them first :)
Lessons can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the unit and learning objectives set. I also tailor my teaching style, however, what I find what typically works the best is:
1. A concise summary of the unit
2. Then a discussion on the topic
3. Answering some set questions or completing the learning resources
4. Discussing the answers
5. Then a memory 'splurge' where you will teach me everything you have learnt today, highlighting any areas where we can both improve on :).
I have a year of experience as a tutor while at university, I also have coached netball for over a decade with a brief stint as a PE teacher.
My lessons are for year 7 to year 13's trying to improve their biology knowledge, whether that's KS3,4, or 5!
