About Shashi
Hi, I’m Shashi Kalra,
A recently retired Biology teacher with 37 years of teaching experience in a reputed Delhi school and over 10 years of home tutoring experience. I teach Biology for Classes 11–12 and Science for Classes 9–10. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to match each student’s pace and learning style. As a former CBSE Board examiner, I understand what examiners look for and help students write high-scoring, well-structured answers. My goal is to build strong concepts, confidence, and excellent academic results.

With 37 years of experience as a Biology teacher and over 10 years of home tutoring, I offer personalized online classes for Biology (Classes 11–12) and Science (Classes 9–10). Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching pace and methods to suit each learner’s needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Classes are typically 1–2 hours long, focusing on building strong conceptual understanding before moving on to application and exam-oriented practice. Having taught thousands of students throughout my career, I can quickly identify areas where a student needs additional support and explain the same concept in different ways until it becomes clear.
As a former Board examination evaluator, I understand what examiners look for and how answers are assessed. I guide students not only to understand Biology and Science but also to write high-scoring, well-structured answers. My goal is to help every student build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop a genuine interest in the subject.
